Peaches and Cream

Here’s a unique take on classic peaches and cream but this recipe uses our gluten free wrap as a crepe for a low carb dessert sure to please!

2 Dessert Wraps
  • 2 egglife Original egg white wraps
  • 2 peaches, peeled and sliced (fresh or frozen)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • 2 tsp powdered sugar
  • ¼ tsp vanilla extract


Step 1

Make the cream filling:  Mix sour cream with vanilla and powdered sugar until well combined.  Set aside.

Step 2

Warm 2 tablespoons of butter in a sauté pan over medium heat.  When butter is melted, stir in brown sugar, and when sugar has melted, add the peaches and nutmeg.  Cook until peaches are soft and have formed a nice syrup.

Step 3

To make the dessert, use ½ of the sour cream mixture as filing for each wrap, and top with half the peaches.  Fold wrap. Serve with additional peaches on top or powdered sugar if desired.
